Individual Tickets for Charlotte Checkers Games On Sale

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Checkers today announced that individual tickets for most home games will go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 20) at 10 a.m.
Tickets start at just $12 and will be available online via Ticketmaster and at the Bojangles' Coliseum box office. Season tickets, mini plans and group outings are on sale now and can be purchased by calling (704) 342-4423.
The Checkers' home schedule begins with back-to-back games against the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday, Oct. 28 (7:15 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 29 (6 p.m.). The team's schedule for the 2016-17 season, its second since returning home to Bojangles' Coliseum, features 24 prime weekend dates including six on Friday, 12 on Saturday and six on Sunday.
The team's promotional schedule, released last week, offers further highlights. In addition to popular annual events including the Teddy Bear Toss (Dec. 17), Race Night (Jan. 28), Pink in the Rink (Feb. 11) and more, fans can enjoy $1 Bud Light draughts and the opportunity to receive a free ticket if the Checkers win on each of their seven Wednesday games. The only game not yet available for sale will be the new 1950s night on Tuesday, Jan. 17. As part of that night's tribute to the first days of professional hockey in Charlotte, those tickets will be available starting at just 90 cents at a date and time to be announced later. ###
