Indians Prepare For Six Home Games In Eight Days

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Indianapolis Indians will return to the friendly confines of Victory Field on Monday for their fourth homestand of 2005. The Tribe will host Louisville (May 30-31) and Charlotte (June 3-6) with a road trip to Louisville (June 1-2) sandwiched in between.

MON. -- MAY 30 -- LOUISVILLE -- 6:00 p.m.
*** Memorial Day Celebration -- A variety of pre-game activities will recognize the efforts of the United States Armed Forces. A bugler and firing squad will be on hand plus a special pre-game military tribute will be shown on the video board.

*** Monday Dollar Menu -- Fans can purchase hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, potato chips and cracker jack for just $1 each (limit four per person).

TUES. -- MAY 31 -- LOUISVILLE -- 7:00 p.m.
*** Radio Sponsors Night -- Indiana Radio Sponsors will be recognized with a pre-game ceremony.
*** Hardee's Ticket Offer -- Fans can receive 2-for-1 admission by picking up a coupon at participating Indianapolis-area Hardee's locations.
*** Zoo Members Ticket Offer -- Indianapolis Zoo Members receive 2-for-1 admission by presenting a valid membership card.

*** Pepperidge Farms Ticket Offer -- Fans can receive complimentary admission (a reserved seat) by bringing in two empty bags from any Pepperidge Farm fresh bakery rolls or buns.

FRI. -- JUNE 3 -- CHARLOTTE -- 7:00 p.m.
*** Friday Fireworks Night -- Fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks spectacular courtesy of Pepsi and Reeves Buick Pontiac. Those in attendance can also register to win a new Pontiac G6, which will be given away at the end of the season (courtesy of Reeves Buick Pontiac).
*** One Dollar Off Admission -- Fans can receive $1 off admission by bringing a special-edition Indians Pepsi can to the Victory Field Box Office.
*** Boy Scout Night -- The evening will serve as a "make-up" date for the Third Annual Camp Out Night at Victory Field. Boy Scouts and their families can reserve a spot by calling 317-269-3542 ext. 258 during normal business hours.



SAT. -- JUNE 4 -- CHARLOTTE -- 7:00 p.m.
*** Dora The Explorer Appearance -- Nickelodeon's Dora The Explorer will entertain fans throughout the evening. Dora will be available for pictures and autographs during the game.
*** Skyy Dogs Performance -- America's "Most Exciting Canine Entertainers" will stop by Victory Field to dazzle fans throughout the night.
*** Team Autograph Night -- All Indians players and coaches will be available for autographs on the concourse from 5:45-6:30 p.m.

SUN. -- JUNE 5 -- CHARLOTTE -- 2:00 p.m.
*** Souvenir Sunday -- The first 4,000 fans will receive a Rowdie Reversible Baseball.
*** Rushville Community Day -- It will be Rushville Community Night at Victory Field.
*** Autographs and Knot Hole Run -- Selected Indians players will sign autographs prior to the game and members of the Indians Spotlight Indianapolis/Pepsi Knot Hole Club will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game.
