Independent Disciplinary Panel Overturns USL Suspension of Laurence Wyke

Tampa Bay Rowdies News Release
The Tampa Bay Rowdies appreciate today's decision of the Independent Disciplinary Panel (IDP) to repeal Laurence Wyke's suspension in its entirety. While we are pleased with the outcome for Laurence, we remain outraged by the USL's myriad failures.
The USL's continual lack of attention to racism and discrimination and its negative and dangerous impacts on our game is one of the reasons we have arrived at this point today.
This issue is far too important to the League and its players for the leadership of the USL not to take responsibility, review its processes, and acknowledge where it must do better. We intend to hold them accountable.
We stand against racism and discrimination in all forms and look forward to continuing the diligent work of being allies on the side of equity and justice.
