Upcoming Playoff Matchup

The Ignition will face either the Philadelphia KiXX (17-13) or the Milwaukee Wave (15-15) beginning Saturday, April 14 on the road. Detroit split the regular season series with Philadelphia three games to three and defeated Milwaukee four to two over six games. The Ignition's opponent will be known on Saturday, April 7 immediately following the Milwaukee Wave at Chicago Storm contest.

Stat of the Week: PLAYOFFS

The MISL regular season champion rests upon the result of Saturday's contest between the Storm and the Wave. For Detroit to secure the top spot in the 2006-07 standings and face the fourth-seeded Milwaukee Wave, Chicago must either lose or win by less than four points. Should the Storm win by exactly four points, the tie-breaker would fall to criteria number five with total points for, a statistic the Ignition currently lead by 13 points. If the Storm wins by five or more points, Detroit will place second and face the third-seeded Philadelphia KiXX in the MISL Semifinals.
