Upcoming Games
The first-year club controls its own destiny as it heads into its final two games of the regular season. A win against the KiXX on Saturday night will secure the regular season championship for the team regardless of the result of Sunday's matchup with the Chicago Storm. Both the KiXX and the Storm are still trying to secure a playoff spot of their own as two of the League's more dominant teams from the season are the final hurdle on Detroit's improbable inaugural run.
Players to Watch This Weekend:
Genoni Martinez (Philadelphia KiXX) - A skilled veteran and one of the League's truly dominant defenders, Martinez has continued upon his success of years past with 21 total goals and 69 points.
Matthew Stewart (Chicago Storm) - Instrumental in the Storm's dismantling of the Ignition on Sunday, March 11, Stewart has established himself as a leader on the field for the Storm this season scoring five goals in five contests against Detroit.
