
Ignition To Hold Soccer Clinic To Benefit Local Woman

(Southfield, Mich., December 6, 2007) - The Detroit Ignition is holding a soccer clinic on December 18, 2007 at Kicks and Sticks Sports Arena in Howell, MI to benefit a local woman with endometrial carcinoma. All profits from the clinic will be donated to the 26-year-old woman, who has no insurance or income, to defray costs associated with her chemotherapy and radiation.
The clinic will be held at the following times:
6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.- Ages 10 and under
7:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.-11 years and older
Those wishing to register can do so at Kicks and Sticks, 960 Victory Drive in Howell, MI. Registration fee is $5 per participant.
The Detroit Ignition is a member club of the Major Indoor Soccer League, and begins the team's second season in November 2007 after advancing to the MISL Championship Finals during the 2006-07 season.
