Ignition Complete 15- Man Roster With Three Signings

(Southfield, Mich., December 11, 2008) - The Detroit Ignition have agreed to terms with three more players for the 2008-09 season, the club announced today. Added to the squad are defenders Nate Craft and Wes Sechrist, and midfielder Tino Scicluna. Per club policy, financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

"It's great to have some exciting new players, especially guys that bring a great deal of skill to the game," Ignition Head Coach Matt Johnson said. "I'm sure Detroit fans will enjoy getting to know some new faces, and I'm happy to welcome them to the team."

Royal Oak native Nate Craft has played for the Ignition since the team's inaugural season, and was selected to the Major Indoor Soccer League's All-Rookie Team in 2007. Craft posted five blocks during 19 regular-season games, and scored a three-point goal in the club's last game of the regular season on April 4 against the Milwaukee Wave.

Sechrist played for the National Professional Soccer League's Cleveland Crunch immediately after graduating high school. The Cleveland native was most recently a member of the World Indoor Soccer League's Utah Freezz.

Scicluna, from Livonia, Michigan, played for the Detroit Rockers through the 2000-01 season. He also serves as Head Coach of Madonna University's men's soccer program.

The Ignition kick off the 2008-09 season on Saturday, December 13, 2008 in Milwaukee.

The Detroit Ignition is a charter member of the Xtreme Soccer League, and begins the team's third season in December 2008 after completing the 2007-08 season as regular-season champions of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
