Ignition Announce 2008-09 Broadcast Package

Detroit Ignition News Release
(Southfield, Mich., December 12, 2008) - The Detroit Ignition have reached an agreement to have every 2008-09 home game broadcast live on Comcast TV, the club announced today. The Ignition broadcast team includes experienced play-by-play veteran Al Pawlowski with Roger Faulkner, a name synonymous with soccer in the state of Michigan, serving as the color analyst. Pawlowski and Faulkner have been calling Ignition games since the team's inaugural season.
"We are so pleased that fans across the state can continue to enjoy the Ignition season, even when they can't make it to the arena," Ignition Vice President of Business Operations Lindsey Gamrod said. "The production quality Comcast brings to the table is outstanding, and we're very happy to be able to continue our partnership with them."
On top of live telecasts, each Ignition home game will be replayed at least once during the following week on Comcast TV Channel 900. Additionally, highlight packages from each game will be available on Comcast's signature On Demand service, allowing fans to tune in whenever it's convenient for them with the ability to pause, fast-forward and rewind their selections to catch the best action again and again. Like the majority of Comcast's 10,000 On Demand programs, Detroit Ignition programming is available to digital cable customers at no additional cost.
