
Ignition and Comcast Local add playoff broadcast

(Southfield, Mich., April 3, 2007) - The Detroit Ignition has announced the club has come to an agreement with Comcast Local, a 24 hour regional sports network that provides exclusive sports programming to over 1.6 million viewers, to broadcast the club's April 15 MISL Semifinal match. Kick-off is at 4:35 pm. The additional broadcast gives fans the chance to continue to follow the first-year club through its improbable ride into the playoffs. The Ignition broadcast team includes experienced play-by-play veteran Al Pawlowski and color-analyst Roger Faulkner, a name well-known to the soccer community in the state of Michigan.
"We are pleased to offer our fans the opportunity to see the Ignition during the semifinal round of the 2007 MISL Playoffs," stated Ignition President Greg Bibb. "Comcast Local has been a tremendous partner during our inaugural season and we are proud to have joined forces with them to provide 12 live broadcasts."
