HENDERSON, Nev. - NBA G League Ignite (2-20) fell short to the Osceola Magic (11-7), 124-113, on Friday night at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev.Babacar Sane led the way for Ignite after notching his third double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. Tyler Smith followed with 18 points and three rebounds, while Izan Almansa added 17 points, six rebounds and two steals. Michael Frazier posted 14 points, three rebounds and three assists, while Matas Buzelis finished with 13 points, six rebounds and three blocks.D.J. Wilson paced the Magic with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds while adding five assists and two blocks. Mac McClung tallied 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds, while Kevon Harris pitched in 19 points and five rebounds. Jeff Howard and Trevelin Queen contributed 19 points apiece, while Queen also recorded seven rebounds and six assists. Ignite opened the game on a 10-3 run, forcing the Magic to burn a timeout early in the frame. The Magic quickly found its rhythm after a slow start en route to edging out a two-point (28-26) advantage after the first quarter despite trailing by double figures. Ignite locked in defensively in the second quarter by holding the Magic to 6-of-20 shooting from the field, including 0-of-11 from behind the arc to build a 19-point lead in the frame. Ignite took a 59-47 lead at the halfway mark behind Babacar Sane, who scored 13 of his 22 points in the first half on 6-of-11 shooting from the field. The Magic came out of the break on fire to outscore Ignite in the third quarter by 22 points (44-22). The Magic had three players score in double figures, led by Kevon Harris, who had 12 points in the quarter to take a 12-point advantage into the fourth quarter. Ignite failed to overcome its deficit as the Magic extended its lead by 16 points in the fourth quarter to coast to the victory.NEXT UPIgnite will face off against the South Bay Lakers on Sunday, Feb. 25 at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev., tipping off at 1 p.m. PT/ 4 p.m. ET.
