
IceRays Sign Goalie to Tender Deal

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Corpus Christi IceRays announced today they have signed goaltender William Christopoulos to the team's third tender deal of the year so far.
Christopoulos, 6'1'' 180lbs is currently a member of the Chicago Young Americans U18 squad where in 24 games played he has a goals against average of 2.52, a save percentage of .915%, while sporting a 10-12-2 record.
Danny Fetzer, Eric Purcell, and AJ Jarosz all came from the Chicago Young Americans program.
"We are excited that Billy made his decision to sign with us," said head coach Justin Quenneville. "Not only was he a highly recruited player among several top programs in Junior hockey, but is coming from a top program with CYA. We look for Billy to continue his development and growth under CYA Head Coach Gregg Naumenko as we move forward in building our recruitment class for next season."
The IceRays are on the road this weekend as they take on the Wichita Falls Wildcats. Puck drops at 7:05PM, coverage begins at 6:50PM with the IceRays Pregame Show on ESPN Radio 1440AM.
