IceHogs set exhibition schedule and individual tickets on sale date

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs President and General Manager Ryan Washatka announced on Wednesday the United Hockey League team's 2006 Preseason schedule and ticket on sale date. The exhibition slate will feature a pair of games at the Rockford MetroCentre as the IceHogs get set for its eighth season of professional hockey in Rockford.
Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season and preseason will go on sale on Monday, Sept. 25. Tickets can be purchased over the phone beginning at 9 a.m. by calling (815) 968-5222. Walk-up tickets can be purchased at the MetroCentre Box Office starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 25. Regular Box Office hours for phone orders are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Walk-up Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.m Monday through Friday. The MetroCentre Box Office is closed on Sundays unless there is an event in the building.
Fans can also purchase tickets beginning on Sept. 25 by logging on to www.centreevents.com. Ticket prices for the '06-07 campaign will remain the same as the 2005-06 season and are as follows: $9, $13, $16 and $19. The IceHogs open its eighth season on Friday, Oct. 13 against the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:30 p.m.
The IceHogs first preseason tilt is set for Friday, Oct. 6 against the rival Quad City Mallards. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. After an off day Saturday, the IceHogs will then return to action on Sunday, Oct. 8 when they face-off against its newest rival, the Chicago Hounds in a 5:05 p.m. game at the MetroCentre. This season marks the first time in Hogs history that the club will host two exhibition games.
Tickets for the IceHogs two exhibition games are $7 General Admission and kids 7-and under receive free admission. Preseason game tickets can also be purchased beginning Sept. 25.
