Icehawks Plan A Number Of Fun Activities For Game Five On Friday

PORT HURON, Mich. - The Port Huron Icehawks will return home to McMorran Arena on Friday for Game Five of the first-round International Hockey League playoff series with the Flint Generals and they are planning a number of in-game activities to add to the fun.

Kids of all ages are invited to have their face painted and to participate in balloon making with several clowns. The festivities are free and will be available from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Fans can also join the Hawkettes promotional team at a sign making station to create and personalize signs to help cheer on the Icehawks.

"Icehawks playoff hockey is an affordable and unique way to entertain your entire family," Icehawks Game Day and Community Relations Coordinator Kelly Carroll said. "We want the energy in McMorran Arena to be electric as the Icehawks seek to bring the Turner Cup to Port Huron in their first year as a franchise."

The game begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walk-up tickets are just $5 for kids 14-and-under and seniors-62-and-over. All other seats are just $10, $12, and $15.

The Icehawks currently lead the series 2-1 after an overtime win in Flint on Monday. They return to Flint on Wednesday for Game Four. If necessary, Game Six is set for Saturday at Flint and Game Seven will be held on Sunday at Port Huron at 6 p.m.
