Port Huron Icehawks News Release

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Icehawks are happy to bring back Hawkey's Kid's Club, sponsored by Casey's Pizza & Subs, for the 2009-10 season. This year members of the club will get closer to the team than ever before for the same low price of $10.

Kids 14-and-under are invited to join and receive a number of fun benefits. The Kid's Club will grant members V.I.P. access to the team, with invitations to special events like locker room tours, a pizza party with the team and more.

A Kid's Club T-shirt and a special Icehawks button will be issued to all members. Kid's Club members will also get an opportunity to ride on the Zamboni at McMorran Arena and a birthday message read at an Icehawks home game. Zamboni rides are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis throughout the season.

"We love getting kids involved with the team and the Kid's Club has been a great way to do so," said Keri Hirschman, Icehawks Manager of Ticket and Business Operations. "The players have always enjoyed being able to spend time with some of their biggest fans."

The club is once again sponsored by Casey's Pizza & Subs in downtown Port Huron.

Kids can sign up for the club at the McMorran box office at 701 McMorran Blvd., downtown Port Huron. For more information, call Keri at 810-966-3800.

The Icehawks open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 17 at home versus the Fort Wayne Komets. Single game tickets are on sale now at the McMorran Arena Box Office, any Ticket Master location or by phone at 810-966-3800.
