
K-Wings Live Returns Oct. 12th

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce the first edition of its weekly coach's show, K-Wings Live, will air Monday, October 12th from 7-8 p.m. from Old Burdick's Bar and Grill.
Old Burdick's Bar and Grill is located inside the Holiday Inn West on 2747 South 11th Street. The restaurant features a roomy atmosphere and great food.
The debut of K-Wings Live will feature an in-depth look at the K-Wings training camp and a look ahead to Kalamazoo's first three games of the season, which starts Thursday, October 15th against the Reading Royals.
President Paul L. Pickard and Director of Hockey Operations/Head Coach Nick Bootland will join The Voice of the K-Wings Mike Modugno on the season's first show, which will air on the exclusive radio home for the K-Wings, The Classic Hits Station WLKM (95.9 FM), as well as online at www.kwings.com.
Single-game tickets for any of the K-Wings 36 regular season home games will go on-sale this Saturday, October 3rd starting at 10 a.m.
Besides tickets going on-sale, the K-Wings will also give fans a sneak peak of the upcoming season this Saturday with a Showcase at Wings Stadium.
Saturday's showcase, which will commence at 7 p.m., will highlight the second day of the K-Wings training camp. Admission for the showcase is FREE and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1.
All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.
Season tickets for the upcoming 2009-2010 season are still on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information about tickets, give the Wings Stadium Ticket Office a call during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
