IceGators Re-Sign Brayden Metz

The Louisiana IceGators are pleased to announce today that they have re-signed former IceGator Brayden Metz. Metz played for the IceGators for the 2011-2012 season. During his rookie year he posted 23 goals and 33 assists for a total of 56 points. While with the IceGators Brayden was named "Rookie of the Year" and received the "Community Service" award for his work with charities, schools and various organizations.

For the 2012-2013 season Metz played for the Dayton Demonz of the FHL(Federal Hockey League) where he scored 69 points (22 G, 47 A). During the season Metz would also receive call ups from the Fort Wayne Koments in the ECHL and the Bloomington Blaze of the CHL before returning to Dayton for the FHL playoffs

IceGators General Manager Louis Dumont says, "Metzy is now a 3rd year pro. While having a taste of playing hockey in the ECHL and CHL last season, we are looking forward to him applying that experience with the IceGators."
