IceDogs at Brampton – Jan 29th .... The IceDogs six game win streak versus Brampton came to an end Thursday night when the Battalion finally beat the ‘Dogs 2-1. Chad Painchaud opened the scoring netting his 13th of the season on an unassisted effort midway through the first period. Brampton would battle back in the second firing 16 shots at David Shantz tying the game at 1-1. The game remained tied until the last four minutes of play when Brampton forward Tyler Harrison notched the game winner.

IceDogs vs Windsor – Jan 30th.... The Mississauga IceDogs (27-12-7-2) came from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Windsor Spitfires 3-2 in overtime Friday night. After Windsor got out to a 2-0 second period lead, IceDogs forward Chris Curran (4) scored to cut the lead in half. The IceDogs would strike again midway through the third when Kyle Quincey scored his ninth of the season to tie the game. After killing off a penalty late in the third and into overtime, Brad Efthimiou made an outstanding individual effort to score his sixteenth of the season and give the IceDogs a huge 3-2 overtime win. With the win the IceDogs remain six points better then Toronto for top spot in the Eastern Conference.

IceDogs at Ottawa – Feb 1st.... The IceDogs found themselves trailing midway through the second period again Sunday afternoon when they made their final trip to Ottawa. The IceDogs scored two minutes into the first and second period on goals by Tom Zanoski (9) and Chris Curran (5), but found themselves trailing 4-2 after two period of play. The ‘Dogs would give up another 67's goal early in the third period before starting their comeback. Lukas Grauwiler (10) and Dan Rudisuela (19) both scored a minute apart late in the third period, but it was too little too late as Ottawa was able to hang on to their 5-4 lead.


Port Credit Coaches Game– Feb 7th... The IceDogs will again be involved in the Port Credit Coaches Game in support of Sean Ryan's Children Fund. The game will be played at 7:30pm, Saturday night at Port Credit Arena. A couple of IceDogs players including Blue will be on hand signing autographs prior to the game.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYOR McCALLION – Jan 31st... Siemens – Global Network of Innovation presents "Happy Birthday Mayor McCallion". Upcoming Schedule .... The IceDogs start this weekends play a couple days early when they travel to Belleville tomorrow night for the final game against the Bulls. The ‘Dogs currently post a 3-0-0 record against Belleville. Following the trip to Belleville, the IceDogs will return home to host Saginaw Friday night and Peterborough Sunday afternoon. The Saginaw meeting will be the first of the season, while the ‘Dogs have split the season series against Peterborough.
