IceDiggers hold a opening weekend walk through
October 11, 2005 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Alpena IceDiggers News Release
With the Alpena IceDigger home opener just days away a meeting of off ice staff is being held on Tuesday, October 11 at 5:30 at Northern Lights Arena.
According to IceDigger Head/Coach/General Manager Kenny Miller, the meeting will be a chance for everyone involved with game activities to go over the jobs for the weekend and have a walk through of everyone's responsibilities.
Miller says "our volunteers practically run the show, from taking tickets to selling souvenirs and programs, it takes a lot of people to run a hockey team. The off ice officials are the most important piece of the puzzle during a home game and we want to make sure everyone is prepared so our opener is a great success.
The IceDiggers are always on the lookout for some extra help. If you are personable, dependable and interested in becoming involved with the team's game-night activities at Northern Lights Arena contact Miller at (989) 356-9812.
