IceCaps Recall Carrozzi from Ontario

The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have recalled goaltender Chris Carrozzi from the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.

Carrozzi, 22, previously appeared in two games with the IceCaps this season earning a 1-1-0 record, 3.50 GAA, and 0.877 save percentage. The Nepean, ON native played much of the 2011-12 season with the ECHL's Ontario Reign, who were recently eliminated from the playoffs. He played in two postseason contests earning a 1-1 record while recording a 3.60 GAA and.882 save percentage. During the ECHL regular season, Carrozzi went 17-6-4 with Ontario, recording a 2.27 GAA and .922 save percentage with three shutouts. He was named the ECHL goaltender of the month for January.
