IceCaps re-assign Carrozzi to Ontario

The St. John's IceCaps announced today they have re-assigned goaltender Chris Carrozzi to the Ontario Reign.

Carrozzi, 22, appeared in one game with the IceCaps since his recall on Jan. 9/13. He returns to Ontario where he has played in 19 games for the Reign of the ECHL so far this season. In that time, the Nepean, ON native has accumulated a 13-6-0 record, 2.83 goals against average and 0.885 save percentage. Carrozzi has now played in four career AHL games, three with St. John's and one with Chicago.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the sixth round, 154th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
