
IceCaps Beat Crunch 2-1 in Overtime

SYRACUSE, NY - Daniel Audette scored in overtime as the St. John's IceCaps shaded the Syracuse Crunch 2-1 Saturday night at the Onondaga County War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, New York.
Anthony Camara, in only his second game with the IceCaps, staked St. John's to a 1-0 lead at the 18:33 mark of the first period. Julien Brouillette recorded the assist. The Crunch tied the game at 13:46 of the second and a scoreless third set the stage for Audette's overtime heroics at 1:24 of extra time. Brouillette and Stefan Matteau assisted on the game-winner.
IceCaps netminder Yann Danis was solid between the pipes, kicking out 32 shots.
