ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 41-20-5-3 record (20-10-2-2 at home, 21-10-3-1 on the road, 6-5-5-3 in overtime) and are fourth in the EASTERN CONFERENCE and tied for sixth overall in the WHL...KOOTENAY recorded their 40th regular season win for the fourth consecutive season and for the sixth time in franchise history March 7 against RED DEER...The ICE have clinched a playoff spot for the tenth consecutive year...KOOTENAY will also finish the regular season with an above .500 record for the ninth consecutive season, which is the longest active streak in the WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE...This week the ICE will wrap up the regular season hosting LETHBRIDGE (March 12) and CALGARY (March 15) before traveling to CALGARY (March 16).

DANONE NIGHT: When KOOTENAY hosts the LETHBRIDGE HURRICANES on March 12 it will be DANONE Night...Fans at the game will have the chance to take part in a grocery cart race and fans can also get clothing and coupons.

ST EUGENE GOLF RESORT & CASINO NIGHT: On March 15 when the ICE host the CALGARY HITMEN it will be ST EUGENE GOLF RESORT & CASINO Night...Fans at the game that are 19 years or older will have the chance to win a meal voucher, slot credit, and clothing.

FINAL UNUSED SEASON TICKET NIGHT: When KOOTENAY hosts LETHBRIDGE on March 12 season ticket holders will be able to exchange their unused tickets from January 22 (Game 24) to March 8 (Game 34) for the game...The unused ticket must have the ticket stub attached in order to be eligible...Tickets can be exchanged any time at the KOOTENAY ICE Office only...Hours of Operation are 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

PLAYOFF PACKAGES AVAILABLE: 2008 playoff packages are now available for the general public at the KOOTENAY ICE Office...Eight game ticket packages are $120.00 for Adults, $96.00 for Seniors and Students, and $64.00 for Youth...For more information on playoff packages, phone 417-0322...Individual game tickets will be available starting Tuesday, March 18 at 10:00 am.

FAMILY PACKS: FAMILY PACKS on sale for the last Wednesday home game during regular season...FAMILY PACKS are $35.00 and include two adult tickets, two youth or student tickets, a parking voucher, a game program voucher, and two McDonald Happy Meal vouchers...For more information, or to purchase a FAMILY PACK, call or visit the KOOTENAY ICE Office.

DID YOU KNOW: KOOTENAY is 32-18-4-1 against the EASTERN CONFERENCE and 21-9-1-0 against the CENTRAL DIVISON this season...The ICE will finish the regular season with a .500 or better road record for the eighth time in the last nine seasons...STEVE DASILVA, who is fifth in overall points (38-49-87), scored his 100 WHL career goal against RED DEER (March 7)...DASILVA is also second in the League in short handed goals with seven...CHAD GREENAN is third in franchise history with assist by a defenseman with 97 (TREVER JOHNSON - 105, MIKE BUSTO - 98)...DUSTIN SYLVESTER, who played in his 200 WHL career game against RED DEER (March 5), leads the team in scoring the first goal of the game with seven.

SCORING STREAKS: DUSTIN SYLVESTER (4-9-13 in span) has recorded at least a point in his last six games...ARNAUD JACQUEMET (1-3-4 in span) and ANDREW BAILEY (1-2-3 in span) have each recorded at least a point in their last three games.

INJURY: TYLAN STEPHENS (concussion) will be out of the KOOTENAY line up day to day.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 69 games of the 2006-2007 season the ICE were 46-17-3-3, after 70 games 47-17-3-3, and after 71 games 48-17-3-3.
