
ICE Reassign Marsden & Stenvig

The Winnipeg ICE have reassigned defenceman Kyle Marsden and goaltender Noah Stenvig.
Marsden, 16, from Fort McMurray, Alberta, played 35 games last season with the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers of the U18 Alberta Elite Hockey League registering 10 points (2 goals and 8 assists) along with 34 penalty minutes.
The 6'2", 222 pound blueliner was selected by the ICE in the sixth round, 116th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
Stenvig, 16, from Campbell River, British Columbia, played 16 games last season with Delta Hockey Academy of the Canadian Sport School U17 Hockey League registering a 14-1-1 record, 2.32 goals against average and .908 save percentage.
The 6'4", 186 pound netminder was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 165th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
With the reassignment of Marsden and Stenvig, along with Conor Geekie, (Arizona), Carson Lambos (Minnesota), Connor McClennon (Colorado), Mikey Milne (Minnesota), Owen Pederson (Nashville), Matthew Savoie (Buffalo) and Ben Zloty (Arizona) currently attending NHL Training Camps, the ICE active roster currently includes three goaltenders, eight defencemen and 12 forwards.
Winnipeg continues the WHL preseason schedule tomorrow (Thursday, September 15th) in Regina before hosting the Pats Saturday, September 17th inside The RINK Training Centre at 7pm.
