Ice In Shootout

Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
The Waterloo Black Hawks out shot the Indiana Ice 37-14 in regulation, but the Ice prevailed 3-2 in a shootout.
Alex Handy scored on Indiana's second shot 3:20 into the game. From that point until the end of the second period, the Ice would have just three more shots.
Chad Billins tied the game for Waterloo on the power play at 11:55, set up near the side of the net by Blake Kessel.
Billy Maday put the Hawks ahead, netting his own rebound after a rush up ice at 5:23 of the second period.
Just 17 seconds into the third period, Ron Cramer tied the game on Indiana's sixth shot of the night. The game remained tied through the end of regulation and overtime.
Greg Squires and John Kemp scored for Indiana in the shootout, while Brock Montpetit was the only Black Hawk able to convert.
The Hawks and Ice meet for a rematch Saturday beginning at 6:05.
