INDIANAPOLIS- The Indiana Ice hope to finish a successful home stand with back-to-back victories over the Sioux City Musketeers on Friday and Saturday nights at Pan Am Pavilion. Puck drop on both nights is set for 7:05 PM.
Indiana (5-4-3) is looking to build on the momentum of an impressive 4-1 victory over the Chicago Steel at Bankers Life Fieldhouse last Saturday night. The contest saw a strong offensive effort from the Ice, who notched four goals on 41 shots. Forwards Scott Conway and Aidan Muir led the Ice with a goal and assist apiece while defensemen Austin Kosack and team captain Tyler Pham each found the back of the net. Goaltender Jason Pawloski had a strong night in the net, making 26 saves on 27 shots.
Sioux City (10-3-1) comes to Indianapolis after a 3-1 loss to Sioux Falls on Saturday night that broke the team's streak of nine consecutive wins. The Musketeers, guided by forward Jared Thomas (4G, 15A) and leading goal-scorer Brandon Hawkins (9G, 3A) own the second-best record in the league. Sioux City defeated Indiana 3-2 in overtime in their only matchup last season.
Indy hits the road next week to take on the Sioux Falls Stampede and Omaha Lancers before returning to Bankers Life Fieldhouse to host the Youngstown Phantoms on Wednesday, November 27 at 7:05 PM.
