Ice Flyers Announce Schedule for 2014 President's Cup Finals

PENSACOLA, FL. (April 7, 2014) - T he Pensacola Ice Flyers return to the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) President's Cup Finals for the third straight season and look to repeat at champions. The schedule for the 2014 Presidents' Cup Finals between the Pensacola Ice Flyers and the Columbus Cottonmouths has been set. The 2014 matchup pits the last two champions against each other as Columbus won in 2012 and Pensacola won last season.

Game One will be played Thursday, Apr. 10 at 7:05 p.m. Central Time (CT) at the Pensacola Bay Center. Game Two will be played on Saturday, Apr. 12, at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, Ga. If necessary, the deciding Game Three will be played in Pensacola on Sunday, Apr. 13 at 6:05 p.m. CT.

Fans are encouraged to wear white as all playoff home games for the Ice Flyers are aimed to "White Out The Hangar."

Prior to Game One, there will be a Party on the Plaza on the west side of the Bay Center beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets for Game One of the series are now on sale through Ticketmaster and at the Pensacola Bay Center Box Office. Those Ice Flyers' fans that would like to purchase a ticket for Game Two in Columbus can contact the Ice Flyers' office at 850-466-3111 to reserve their seat in the Ice Flyers' fan section.
