FORT COLLINS, CO - The Colorado ICE (2-2) face the Alaska Wild (0-3) this Sunday, April 26th at 7 p.m. (MTN time) at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, AK. This will be the first of two contests between the two Pacific Division teams this season.
With a win the ICE look to remain one game out of the Pacific Division lead, while the Wild are seeking their first win of the 2009 season. The Wild are coming off a tough 52-33 road loss last week against the Maryland Maniacs while the ICE head into the game fresh off of a 61-30 home win against the Fairbanks Grizzlies. The Wild feature a balanced offensive attack with a sound running game. The ICE have displayed a balanced offense which features the IFL's leading rusher, running back Terry Washington.
"We have continued to improve each game," Head Coach Collins Sanders said. "There are still areas we need to work on and we look at this weekend's game as an opportunity to do just that."
This Sunday's game can be seen live via Internet broadcast on the B2 network (B2tv.com) or on the radio on KJMP AM 870 ESPN. The ICE's next game is Saturday, May 2nd at 7 pm at the Budweiser Events Center against the Omaha Beef.
The Colorado ICE are members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). All home games are played at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. Single, group, and season tickets for the 2009 season are now available at the Colorado ICE headquarters by calling (970) 472-0128. Season ticket packages start at just $120 per seat and include all parking, ticketing, and facility fees.
