
Ice Bears get back at Cyclones

After Pee Dee defeated Knoxville on December 16th, the Ice Bears have been awaiting their chance for revenge. Tonight, Knoxville was handed their chance.
The first stanza saw goals from both sides; Bob Rangus got on the boards first for Knoxville and Drew Madeiros soon followed for the Cyclones, putting the score 1-1 at the end of the first.
Pee Dee managed to get two more goals in the second period from Brian Boike and Marcus Reszka, putting them on top 3-2 at the second intermission.
However, Knoxville owned the final period, putting in three goals to Pee Dee's zero. Despite going 2 for 9 on the powerplay, the Cyclones were not able to muster a comeback, leaving the final score: Cyclones 3, Ice Bears 5.
