Augusta, GA-- The Knoxville Ice Bears' Berkley Scott scored 4:15 into overtime to beat the Augusta RiverHawks, 3-2 (OT).

Knoxville was sparked by Scott, who tallied one goal and one assist.

The Ice Bears put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill and did not allow Augusta to convert on any of its three power plays. The RiverHawks were unable to stop Knoxville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Ice Bears eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Augusta put up thirty shots on net during the contest, more than the 22.0 it averages per game.

The RiverHawks were helped by Ian Watters, who added one goal. Watters scored 1:48 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Augusta (Megginson). Drew Baker also found the back of the net for the RiverHawks. In addition, Augusta received assists from Kyle Watson and Matt Puntureri, who each chipped in one.
