
Ice Bats Host Amarillo Today

(Austin, TX) - The Ice Bats look to make it six out of seven today when the host the Amarillo Gorillas today at 4:00 PM at Chaparral Ice Arena.
Last the night Ice Bats defeated the first place Laredo Bucks, 2-1. The win propelled the Ice Bats into third place in the Southeast Division, and also within eight points of the final playoff spot in the Southern Conference. The Ice Bats won a total of seven games in their first 30 contests of the season. Since then they've rattled off five wins in their last six games.
The Ice Bats are the AA Affiliate for the NHL's Minnesota Wild and the AHL's Houston Aeros (AAA). The team is currently playing its 12th season in Austin. Single game tickets and mini-plans are available by calling 512-927-7825 or visiting icebats.com.
