Ice Add 20 Year Old Defenseman

Kootenay Ice News Release
Cranbrook, BC -- Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced the Club has acquired overage defenseman Ryan Molle from the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for Kootenay's fourth round pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.
"This trade gives us additional depth on our blue line and should take some pressure off the 1991 and 1992 group of defensemen. Ryan is a three year veteran of the WHL and that experience and leadership will be key for our Hockey Club," commented Chynoweth.
With today's transaction the ICE now have two 20-year-olds on their roster and are carrying 33 players (four goalies, ten defensemen and 19 forwards).
Ryan Molle will be arriving in Cranbrook tomorrow in time for practice at 11:45 am.
