Winnipeg Ice News Release
The Winnipeg ICE have acquired 19 year old forward Briley Wood from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a 6th round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Wood, from Rivers, Manitoba, registered two goals and three assists for five points and 22 penalty minutes in 58 games with the Hurricanes last season.
Over the past three WHL seasons, Wood has played in 79 regular season games.
Prior to his junior career, Wood registered 106 points (43 goals & 63 assists) in 90 games with the Yellowhead Chiefs of the Manitoba U18 Hockey League.
