IBL Championship Tournament in Vancouver this Weekend

Portland Chinooks News Release


The International Basketball Leaguewill have its playoffs right here in the Portland metro tomorrow night, Friday July 1st with game times of 6pm and 8pm; then the final four will be played on Saturday night at 6pm and 8pm and the overall IBL Championship will be held on Sunday at 1pm.

Location: Clark College in Vancouver Washington.

Portland Chinooks Local Players to watch:

David Lucas 6' 8"- Oregon State University, All Pac 10

Robert Day 6' 3"- back from professional season in Mexico

Mac Hopson 6' 3"- back from professional season in Japan- averaging 32 points and 8 assists per game in the IBL season after 11 games played.

Brian Morris 6' 9"- back from professional season in Japan- averaging big numbers in points and rebounds in the IBL.

Kevin Ford 6' 9"- recently had a game of 30 points and 15 rebounds versus the Albany NY Legends.

Volcanoes Local Players to watch:

Josh Tarver 6' 1"- Oregon State

Andre Murray 6' 4"- Portland State

High potential prospect- 6' 9" Lawrence Blackledge- also back from a professional season in Japan, Blackledge is an excellent small forward- a must see player.

Devin Uskoski- 6' 8" averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds- an overseas player from the Portland metro as well
