Hustle Make Franchise Record 25 3-Pointers in Win over Skyforce

Memphis, Tenn. - The Memphis Hustle (4-5), the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce (5-5) 124-114 in the first of a back-to-back set at Sanford Pentagon.

Zyon Pullin led the Hustle with 27 points and 10 assists. DJ Steward scored 18 points. Nate Hinton added 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists off the bench. Miles Norris registered 16 points. Yuki Kawamura totaled 14 points. Lucas Williamson contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.

Alondes Williams paced Sioux Falls with 28 points. Nassir Little scored 22 points. Keshad Johnson tallied 15 points and 13 rebounds. Malik Williams added 12 points and 13 rebounds.

After trailing by six midways through the third quarter, Memphis closed the period on a 24-7 run to take a double-digit lead into the fourth quarter. The Skyforce cut the deficit to 108-105 with 4:59 remaining. Memphis responded with seven unanswered points to pull away for the win.

Memphis made a franchise record 25 3-pointers while shooting 48.1 percent from beyond the arc. Memphis tied a season-high with 36 assists on 45 made field goals. The Hustle scored 24 points off turnovers and 25 fast break points.

The two teams will complete the back-to-back tomorrow, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. CT.
