
Huskies Stratch Streak to Three

Duluth Huskies News Release
The Duluth Huskies (13-7) made over 950 fans very happy with a 10-6 win against the Eau Claire Express to extend their win streak to 3 games.
Elijah Dilday jump started the Huskies scoring with a home run in the 2nd inning. The Huskies later exploded for 3 runs in the 3rd, 3 runs in the 4th, and 2 runs in the 5th to make it 10-3 at the end of 5 innings. Danny Lee started the 3rd inning with a single and a stolen base. Dominic Miroglio was able to score Danny Lee and Alex Greene with a double. Alex Greene was able to score Jimmy Heck and Matt McLaughlin in the 4th inning with a single. The Huskies never looked back to storm to their 10-6 win.
Alex Greene, Jimmy Heck, and Dominic Miroglio all lead the Huskies with 2 RBI each. Alex Wojciechowski and Elijah Dilday both came out with a RBI as well. Toby Anderson had 5 solid innings of pitching while striking out 3 batters and letting up only 3 runs.
The Huskies will be back at Wade on tomorrow (Tuesday June 16, 2015) to take on the Eau Claire Express once again to finish off a two-game home stand.
