March 2, 2018 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Halifax Hurricanes News Release
Winning on the road is tough. Winning the second game of a back-to-back on the road is harder, but the Hurricanes toughed it out.
The night after losing a tough one in Charlottetown, the Hurricanes beat the Saint John Riptide 102-93 at Harbour Station.
The Hurricanes entered halftime down by five, came out of the break and outscored the hometown Riptide 58-44 in the second half.
After an off game on Thursday night, Hurricanes forward Billy White bounced back with 24 points and eight rebounds to lead the Hurricanes to the win.
The Hurricanes also got buckets from CJ Washington who finished with 19 and Antoine Mason who had 18 points.
Mason and Ta'Quan Zimmerman were hot from beyond the arc. Mason was a perfect three for three while Zimmerman didn't miss on his four threes.
Next week, the Hurricanes will head to St. John's to try some Newfoundland hospitality for the first time where they will play the Edge in back-to-back games on Tuesday, Mar. 6 and Wednesday, Mar. 7.

The Hurricanes will be back at home on Thursday, Mar. 15 to host the Moncton Magic. You can buy tickets for that game at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office or online.
