Both starting bigs, Rhamel Brown and Chadrack Lufile fouled out in the fourth quarter, while Jordan Washington and Tyler Thornton each had 5 fouls called against them. In total, the Hurricanes had the whistle blown on them 36 times in the contest.

With their defensive bigs sitting with fouls, Glen Davis was able to score a game-high 30-points against the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes showed resolve and hung around in the contest after trailing by more than 20 and cutting the lead back to single digits.

Jordan Washington was the Hurricanes' star for the evening with a team-high 19 points of the bench to go with eight boards and three assists.

Also sparking offence off the bench was Joel Kindred, who suck 17 points, including three from beyond the arc.

Starting wings Terry Thomas and Mike Poole each put up 18 points in the game, shooting a combined 14 of 33 from the field and six of seven from the free throw line.

With the loss, the Hurricanes return to a .500 win record and are 6-4 over their last 10 games.

They will swing back home to Halifax on Saturday to host the defending National Basketball League of Canada Champions, the London Lightning at Scotiabank Centre.
