
Hurricanes Sign DiDomenicantonio

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Monday they have signed 2009-born forward Enzo DiDomenicantonio to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.
DiDomenicantonio, 15, was selected by the Hurricanes in the first round (13th overall) of the 2024 WHL US Priority Draft.
The Los Angeles, California, product spent the 2024-2025 season with the HoneyBaked 15U AAA team in Detroit, Michigan totaling 117 points (57g-60a) in 69 total games this year. He finished first in team scoring and goals while ending the season 10th in 15U league scoring.
The 5'9, 155-pound forward added an additional 34 points (22g-12a) along with four penalty minutes with the HoneyBaked 15U team in MAHA 15U team play. DiDomenicantonio collected 102 points (45g-57a) along with 56 penalty minutes with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings 14U AAA team during the 2023-2024 season before adding six points (4g-2a) along with two penalty minutes in four post-season games.
DiDomenicantonio joins fellow 2009-born players Tyden Lafournaise, Reid Soper, Leif Oaten, Cohen Pentney, Jake Evans and Matteo Di Stefano to sign with the Hurricanes while becoming the first ever player drafted in the US Priority Draft to sign with the 'Canes.
The Western Hockey League will hold the 2025 US Priority Draft on Wednesday, May 7th at 10:00am. The Hurricanes will hold the 23rd and 24th overall selections in the two-round snake draft. Players eligible for the 2025 WHL US Priority Draft are 2010-born players who have resided in the United States for two or more consecutive hockey seasons immediately preceding the draft and must have resided in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington or Wyoming.
