Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release
Lethbridge, AB - The Canes split their trip to the U.S. taking two of a possible four wins. The Canes beat Portland 4-3 in overtime on February 4th with Luca Sbisa tallying a pair of assists and the OT winner in his first game of the season in Canes colors after being reassigned by the Philadelphia Flyers. Colton Sceviour also made his triumphant return to Portland with a three point night (1G, 2A). On February 7th, The Canes came out flying against Everett as they rallied for a three goal lead in the first period with goals from Brennan Yadlowski (3), Austin Fyten (11) and Carter Ashton (26). Ashton, finished the night with two points and a team leading 26 goals on the season. Lethbridge would then continue to pour it on as Brody Sutter (4) tallied an unassisted marker to kick off the second period; while Kyle Beach added his 20th of the season to lead the Canes to a 5-4 win.
Storm Warnings:
-Welcome Back: Luca Sbisa notched the game winner and two assists in his first game back with the Hurricanes.
-20th Goal: Kyle Beach netted his 20th goal of the season against his old team, the Everett Silvertips, on February 7th.
-Colton Sceviour (24G, 42A), Kyle Beach (20G, 31A) and Dwight King (19G, 31A) are the Hurricanes current scoring leaders. While Mitch Versteeg leads all Hurricanes d-men with 25 points (6G, 19A).

Players from the Lethbridge Hurricanes will be suiting up for Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy. This will be the last pond hockey event of the season that the Canes will be taking part in at the ENMAX Centre. This grassroots program gives local Atom players (ages 9 to 10) the opportunity to participate in a fun and educational evening of skills, drills, and shinny with players from the Canes.

Friday, February 13 -GAME NIGHT
Lethbridge vs. Kamloops
This will be the second time that the Blazers have visited the ENMAX Centre this year; It is also the third and final time that the Kamloops Blazers and the Lethbridge Hurricanes will be suiting up to face each other this season. During the last game the Canes dropped a 4-3 decision to the Kamloops Blazers despite outplaying and out maneuvering their opponents at many points during the game. Carter Ashton continued his stellar play with a pair of goals for his 16th and 17th on the season while Carter Bancks (1G,1A) and Cam Braes (2A) each had two point nights. Rookie goaltender Michael Tadjdeh suffered his first loss in five starts with a 27 save performance. The Canes will be looking for their first win against the Blazers; as they have been unable to come up with a win against them all season.

Saturday, February 14- GAME NIGHT
Lethbridge vs. Red Deer
During their last match up in Red Deer, Captain Ben Wright notched what would be the game winner with five seconds remaining in the first period for his third of the season. Zach Boychuk and Austin Fyten notched the other Canes Markers but it was Michael Tadjdeh who carried the Canes to victory on the strength of a 38 save shut out; it was Tadjdeh's first WHL shutout. This game will mark the second last time that these two teams will suit up against each other during regular season play.
