
Hurricanes Out-Shoot Tians for Third-Straight Win

HALIFAX, N.S. - The Halifax Hurricanes were able to capitalize on a 22-0 run in the third quarter to glide to 100-88 win against the KW Titans at Scotiabank Centre on Saturday night.
The Hurricanes shot a steady 45 per cent from the floor and a blistering 47 per cent from three, hitting nine of 19 from deep and hitting 81 per cent of their foul shots.
The Hurricanes were able to take advantage of Titan mistakes all game, scoring 24 points off steals and turnovers.
Cliff Clinkscales, Rhamel Brown and Jordan Washington each tallied three steals on the night, while Gabe Freeman, Joel Kindred and Mike Poole each snatched one apiece.
Freeman led all scorers in the game with 27 points on 11-20 shooting. He also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
Kindred used his explosive offence to put up 16 points.
Tyrone Watson, Brown and Poole also each scored in double digits, while Clinkscales dished out a game-high 12 assists.
The Hurricanes' third-straight win came in front of more than 2,100 fans.
The Hurricanes will test their endurance on Sunday when they play their second game in less than 24 hours against the St. John's Edge at Scotiabank Centre. That game tips off at 2 p.m.
