Humphreys wants another title

Rome Renegades Coach David Humphreys is looking to add another pennant to his collection as the Renegades advance to the AIFL play-offs MOnday night June 19th against the Chattahoochee Valley Vipers. Prior to becoming the Renegades Head Coach in the winter of 2004-05, Humphreys led the ROme High Wolves to four consecutive Region 7 - AAA champisonships and advanced to the Georgia AAA quarter finals in three of those four years, losing to eventual state champions all three times.

Since 'moving up' to pro indoor football, Humphreys led the Renegades to the Atlantic division championship of the NIFL last year, losing the overall championship to Tri-Cities in 2005.

This year, Humphreys has directed the Renegades to the Southern division championship of the AIFL. The Renegades are tied with Richmond and Reading with the leagues top records (12-2) heading into the playoffs. Rome handed the defending champion Richmond Bandits their only two losses of the season.
