The af2 League Office has officially assigned WR/DB Jeff Hughley to the Tulsa Talons for the 2008 season. Hughley (5-8, 175 lbs) returns to the Talons for his second year of arena ball after attending Training Camp for the Colorado Crush of the AFL earlier this year.

Hughley quickly became a MVP for the Talons 2007 Championship team, playing in all 16 regular season games. He lead the team in scoring with 198 points, in TDs with 33, in Receptions with 84 catches for 1069 Yds, and in Kick Returns with 63 returns for 1363 Yds. He gained league honors three weeks in a row, where he was named U.S. Army Ironman Player of the Game twice, and Schutt Offensive Player of the Game.

"Jeff's return to the Talons really gives us a huge boost to our receiving core. Jeff was a major part of our run to the championship last season and we look for a lot of the same from him in '08", said Head Coach Mitch Allner.

Prior to his af2 experience, Hughley played college football at Averett University in Virginia. There he was named "Offensive Rookie of the Year" and "Second Team All-Conference" in 2003. He was named "First Team All-Conference" three years in a row.
