Houston Dynamo FC News Release

HOUSTON, TX (Wednesday, September 13, 2006) - Don't miss the Dynamo take on Chivas USA this Sunday September 17, at Robertson Stadium, in what will be a big celebration of cultures, and much more than just a game.

As part of the Dynamo's first annual Budweiser Hispanic Heritage Night entertainment, there will be a presentation of flags prior to kick-off, so fans from all over are encouraged to come on out and cheer for their country as their flag gets presented. Also, get ready to see Adalberto Sanchez, better known as Beto Dominator, the ball-juggling expert who holds the Guinness World Record for balancing a football on his forehead (two hours).

Beto Dominator was part of the many celebratory activities that took place around the unveiling of the FIFA World Cup Trophy in the center of the pitch at Monterrey's Estadio Universitario, in front of 45,000 supporters. On that occasion the talented youngster made no attempt to smash his record, instead amazing a rapt audience with a series of tricks that included keeping two balls in the air at once.

Beto Dominator will be in Houston entertaining Dynamo fans outside in the SoccerFest area, at the Fiesta booth, and will then lead the "Parade of Champion" onto the field, where he will show his latest tricks. Kick off is set for 7:30 PM (CT). Beto Dominator will then sign autographs at halftime, side by side to WBA Lightweight Champion of the World and Houston Native, Juan Díaz. Both autograph sessions will take place inside the stadium, by Gate 8.

Just when you thought the fun was over, a local dance group, Ambassadors International Ballet Folklórico, will also be on hand, entertaining the masses right at halftime, and celebrating the Independence of México, and most Central American countries. AIBF, founded in 1979 as the Ripley House Ballet Folklorico, is a non-profit group, based out of the Houston area that performs traditional dances from Texas, Mexico, Central and South America.

Houston Dynamo will also recognize the recipients to the Most Outstanding Hispanic Leader in the community. After an abundance of applications, Houston Dynamo staff found it very hard to narrow down that list to 11 recipients, thus, went ahead and selected 25 recipients for this award. Join these local role models and cheer them as their names get called up on the field of Robertson Stadium.

Don't miss a whole variety of dishes from Central America and Mexico, and enjoy a "Beer Garden" set up by Budweiser outside of the stadium, from 5:30-7:30PM. Live music by local group "Mary's band", mariachis by Meca and Duo, face painters and more...

For ticket information, call 713-276-7500 or log onto www.houstondynamo.com. Gates open at 6:00 PM (CT).
