HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC will loan defender Ian Hoffmann to Orange County SC in the USL Championship for the remainder of the season, the clubs announced today.
The 20-year-old made his first team debut last season against Minnesota United on Aug. 7, 2021. Hoffmann has earned six appearances and two starts for the first team. The defender has also earned nine starts for Houston Dynamo 2 this season in MLS NEXT Pro.
The Dynamo signed Hoffmann on July 27, 2020 and he made his professional debut the following month while on loan to RGV FC in the USL Championship. The defender finished with five starts for the Toros in his first season as a professional.
