Kickoff for Sunday's match is set for 5:00 p.m. CT, and fans can follow the action live on Paramount+ and international fans can stream the match live on Twitch.
The Dash look to earn their fifth victory of the regular season on Sunday. The Dash currently hold a 4-1-3 record are 2-1-0 against the Red Stars in their last three meetings, including the Championship match in the 2020 Challenge Cup on July 26, 2020. Houston will travel to North Carolina next week to face the Courage on Saturday, July 17 at 6:00 p.m. CT at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Here are the three key points ahead of Sunday's game:
HOUSTON WANTS FIFTH VICTORY: The Dash won their last two matches prior to this road trip at home against Orlando and OL Reign, extending their unbeaten run at BBVA Stadium to nine games. Houston now shifts its focus to a two-game road stretch and enters with one victory away from home this season. Houston is 1-0-2 on the road this season and looks to even the series against Chicago in their first visit to SeatGeek Stadium since 2019.
HARRIS LOOKS FOR THIRD CLEAN SHEET: *Dash co-captain and goalkeeper Jane Campbell recently joined the U.S. Women's National Team as a member of the 22-player squad for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. During the Olympic period, Houston goalkeeper Lindsey Harris is set to step in goal for the next six games. Harris made her NWSL debut during this year's Challenge Cup against OL Reign on April 17. The Austin, Texas native has two NWSL caps under her belt keeping a clean sheet in both matches, one being against Chicago in Houston's 0-0 draw.
TAKING DOWN CHICAGO AGAIN: Although the Dash are undefeated in the last three games against Chicago, none of the victories have been at SeatGeek Stadium. Since joining the league in 2014, Houston has never won at SeatGeek Stadium, and will look to earn the first victory during this Sunday's showdown against former Dash captain, Kealia Watt.
