
Houston Dash Host Western New York Flash Tonight at BBVA Compass Stadium

HOUSTON (Saturday, June 20, 2015) - The Houston Dash face the Western New York Flash at 7:30 p.m. CT tonight at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets are available at HoustonDashSoccer.com, by calling (713) 276-GOAL, or by visiting the BBVA Compass box office (2200 Texas St., Houston).
The match will be broadcast live via YouTube at HoustonDashSoccer.com/live, and will air on ROOT SPORTS on Sunday, June 21, at 5 p.m. Game notes for the Dash are attached.
This is the first meeting this season between the Dash (2-2-4, 10 points) and Western New York (3-3-1, 10 points). Both teams come into the match with multi-game unbeaten streaks. Houston has not lost in four matches - a franchise high - and the Flash are unbeaten in their last three games.
The Flash began the season with two straight losses, but have only lost once in their last five matches. Western New York is led by rookie midfielder Samantha Mewis, with three goals and one assist, and former Dash midfielder Becky Edwards, who has added a goal and three assists. Dash defender Toni Pressley and Western New York midfielder Ashley Nick will face their former teams for the first time after being traded for each other on May 11.
Following tonight's match, the Dash will hold watch parties for Canada and the United States' Women's World Cup matches on Sunday and Monday, respectively. Both watch parties will be held at The Phoenix on Westheimer. The Dash return home to face the Chicago Red Stars on July 12.
