Houston Dash News Release

HOUSTON - The Houston Dash announced two roster moves prior to their match later today against Utah Royals FC. The Dash waived goalkeeper Savannah Madden and signed defender Madison Ayson to a short-term contract.

"We wish Savannah the best as she explores new opportunities to earn more playing time," Dash General Manager Alex Singer said. "We appreciate her contributions to the team and look forward to following her continued development with her next club and at the international level with Peru."

Madden joined the Dash for the 2023 preseason as a non-roster invitee after playing collegiately at the University of Texas. She signed with the team prior to the start of the 2023 season and has represented Peru at the international level.

Ayson joins the Dash on a short-term contract and will be available for selection later today for the match against the Royals. The defender spent the 2023 season with Xavier University and spent four seasons with Stanford University. She won two Pac-12 championships and the 2019 NCAA championship with Stanford.
