HOUSTON - The Houston Dash acquired defender Megan Crosson, the club announced today.

Crosson returns to Houston after joining the club for four appearances during the 2016 season. After her first NWSL season, Crosson continued her professional career overseas in Japan's Speranza FC, Spain's UDG Tenerife and Lithuania's Gintra Universitetas from 2016 to 2018.

The defender joined the Washington Spirit in August 2018 when she signed as a national team replacement player, making an appearance in the last game of the season. Crosson scored her first professional goal when Washington faced Sky Blue FC on April 13, 2019. The California native made six appearances for the Spirit last season.

Crosson finished her four-year collegiate career at Santa Clara University with 60 appearances from 2012 to 2015. As a senior, Crosson led the team in assists with seven and earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mentions.
