Hounds Trim Training Camp Roster / Red & White Game Rosters Announced

Following three days of on and off-ice activities, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club has reduced their training camp roster to 36 players in preparation for tonight's Annual Red & White Game. Opening face-off is set for 6 p.m. at the Essar Centre and tickets are still available by stopping by the box office at 269 Queen Street East starting at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

Roster deletions following Friday's scrimmage include: Goalies - Ben Hogan Defensemen - Beau Orser, James Bruin, Marcus Quinlin, Jeff Vanzant Forwards - Adam Fares, Michael Iacocca, Josh Pitt, Tyler Crawford, Michael Borkowski, Brian Bunnett, David McCaig, Philip Teri

Rosters for tonight's game are as follows: TEAM RED Goalies - 30 Robin Lehner, 33 Paul Orlando Defense - 2 Michael Quesnele, 5 Brock Beukeboom, 6 Michael MacIntyre, 7 Brandon Archibald, 8 Corey Jackson, 12 Matthew Fuller Forwards - 15 Vern Cooper, 16 Daniel Catenacci, 17 James Livingston, 18 Jordan Carroll, 19 Ryan MacLean, 20 Tomas Rachunek, 21 Justin Thomas, 22 Jordan Nolan, 23 Brendan Childerley, 24 Nicholas Romano

While still with the club but not participating in tonight's game will be defenseman Marshall Fox and forward Brett Thompson.

Following the red and white contest the Hounds have little time before opening up their pre-season schedule with a visit from the Sudbury Wolves this coming Tuesday, September 1st, 7 p.m. at the Essar Centre.
