
Hounds Sign QB

Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release
WHEELING, WV - The 2002 NIFL National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds have signed former backup Qb Shane Franzer to the lead Hounds into 2003 season.
Franzer, 6'3", 220 pound quarterback joined the Greyhounds in the 2002 season as a capable backup and special team ace. Franzer led the Hounds in the playoffs with 13 special team tackles and 6 catches as a wide receiver with one Td. He served the OVG's in the 2002 season as a qb, wr, db, fs and kr.
Shane attended Bowling Green University before transferring to Ohio Northern University. Franzer now serves as a quarterback coach at Ohio Northern University.
